After a long break both the NFL and KeyesToSports are back. Last years inaugural season of Keyes Foresees saw us end up at 74-51 vs. the spread and 81-44 picking the outright winner. Since I was on vacation this week I was a little slow getting the picks posted but here we go.
My first lock for this week is the Rams over the Eagles. I like the way Bradford has progressed. Steven Jackson should be more than enough for the Eagles to not be able to sit on the blitz and with the week LB crew of the Eagles I can see big plays happening once he progresses through the first level.
Second lock of the week is the Chargers over the Vikings. If this game is within 20 points I will be very surprised. Phillip Rivers is ready to take over the throne of best QB in the AFC and with having Vincent Jackson back to start the season it should be points galore for the Charger's offense.
My final lock of week 1 is Dallas over the NY Jets. Yes I am going way out on a limb that the Cowbowys have righted the ship. Although Jerry didn't take my advice from last year he has made some good moves in hiring Rex Ryan to lead the defense, ditching Roy Williams (addition by subtraction) and giving Felix Jones the RB1 slot.
It's good to be back and looking forward to the 2011 NFL season
