Penske Racing Looking Strong at Daytona

Penske Racing 22 in test track colors
Roger Penske is infamous for what he can do for an Indy Car drivers career. He may be adding to his list with NASCAR. During this weekends Daytona testing Penske Racing has set the two fastest times at the track. Brad Keselowski  and Kurt Busch both topping out at over 198.5 MPH.

Penske Racing has slowly climbed up to the ranks of the other teams and could start to really bring a chase race to Hendrick Racing,. The new nose on the Dodge Charger seemed to be working to perfection  in and out of the draft. With Daytona being repaved the grip on the track is allowing for longer runs on tires which will then allow for less pit stops. I for one hope the field is spread out once we go racing and not grouped together. The one thing NASCAR lacks is the ability to separate yourself from the pack even when you have the best car.

This weekend is the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona...and yes Penske Racing is in that race as well.
