Adrian Gonzalez Headed to Boston

It now appears to be official, Adrian Gonzalez is going to the Boston Red Sox. This is a huge acquisition for Theo Epstein and company. Getting AGON allows them to move Youkilis to 3B and gives them pop in the order.

 At 28 years of age he has the experience and capabilities to be more effective than the Texiera signing the Yankees had. The Red Sox order could look something like this Elsbury, Pedroia, Youkilis, Ortiz, Gonzalez, Drew, Cameron, Lowrie Saltamachia . One could think how much better this lineup could be with Crawford in the 2 slot and Pedroia leading off and then sliding Elsbury and Drew into platoon situation.
