The Giants are bringing back one more misfit from their World Series championship team.
Outfielder Pat Burrell has agreed to return on a discounted, one—year contract, Bay Area News Group has learned. Sources confirmed the agreement, which was pending a physical. Terms weren't immediately available, but Burrell is expected to receive a fraction of the $9 million he made last season, when the Tampa Bay Rays released him in May and the Giants pulled him off the couch with a minor-league contract.
